Some products can be harmful to fish, in this case, if you have fish our technicians will ask that you cover fish tanks & ponds during the duration of the treatment. Most pesticides have been developed from natural chemicals found in the environment. For example, the product we use on the exterior of your home is a synthetic pyrethroid – modelled on the extract pyrethrum from the Pyrethrum Daisy. 

In most cases you do not need to leave your home, However, for certain treatments, we may recommend that you and your pets vacate the premises for a few hours. Our technician will provide you with specific instructions based on the treatment plan & re-entry periods recommended on the label of the product used. Our technicians carry safety data sheets for all products used and can provide a copy at your request.

The length of a pest control treatment depends on the type and severity of the pest infestation. Most treatments take between 30 minutes to 2 hours.

No. For residential treatments, nothing needs to be moved prior to our professional pest control treatment. Although we do recommend you seal or cover any open food items.

The product we use on the exterior of your home has an ingredient that sets the residual to the bricks and concrete therefore, providing the treatment is dry, there will be no impact on the treatment. We also tend to focus our exterior treatments in cracks & crevices where pest usually breed and hide. 

In the event of rain on the day of treatment, you will be contacted by our technician to make alternate arrangements. In some cases, if convenient for you, we may complete the internal treatment as this would have no impact on the. treatment 

At Simply the Pest Management Solutions we recommend 6–12-month treatments. This ensures our technicians can closely monitor & prevent pest infestations.
